Mr. Gifford is a registered Professional Engineer with over 35 years of experience in mechanical engineering analysis and design of complex buildings. This includes extensive experience with academic institutions & teaching facilities, health care facilities, teaching & research laboratories, commercial, residential, retail, municipal buildings and manufacturing facilities.
He has been responsible for the management and design of projects from conception through construction, commissioning and final occupancy. This includes system conceptualization, construction budgets, preparation and coordination of working drawings, interdisciplinary coordination, specifications, construction budgets and field reviews.
His work has involved many designs which involve energy efficient systems and/or sustainable design approaches including projects reaching LEED Gold Certification or rebates from local utility companies.
He has completed many feasibility studies, program and utility master plans, utility assessments, trouble shooting, peer review, energy modeling and due diligence facility evaluations.
